Object of the month: Decorative plate from the 1950s
Monthly Artifacts
May, the month we celebrate our Constitution Day, is the perfect choice for displaying this national romantic plate. The two girls are dressed in the national costume bunad from Hardanger.
Gunvor Abrahamsen designed Alta's bunad, in 2008. The pattern is inspired by the baptismal font in Kåfjord church.
