Chicken strikken originated in the 1970s in Denmark. A core idea of chicken strikken was to knit after one’s own imagination and combine symbols and patterns into colourful garments. Chicken strikken was still able to create a common and easily recognizable expression. When Anna Bauer discovered chicken strikken, it was love at first sight.
